Belmont Family Practice

Dear Patients,

It is with much sadness that I am informing you of the closure of Belmont Family Practice effective of Monday 4^th January 2021.

Circumstances have led to this being a very sudden decision and I apologise to those of you that are affected by the short notice.  I am very saddened that I won’t be able to say goodbye to many of you in person but it has been an honour and a privilege to have been able to care for so many of you for such a long time.

As of 19^th January 2021 I will be working part time with Glover Street Practice in Belmont.  They are keen to facilitate appointments for anyone wishing to transfer there to either continue seeing me or the other doctors at Glover Street.

I believe the doctors at Glover Street to be excellent practitioners as well as being caring and ethical.  That will allow me to continue to practice in the way that I always have.

For those that find that this arrangement does not suit you then please be assured that every effort will be made to efficiently transfer your records to another doctor or practice of your choosing.

Once again, may I thank you for your support and trust over the years.  It has been a pleasure to care for you and your families and I wish everyone the best for the future.

Dr Catherine McLelland has served the Belmont community for the past 30 years.

She has practiced from Belmont Family Practice as a solo General practitioner since July 2005.  Prior to that she practiced at The Cottage Practice in Sharp St
